The "technical transformation of MAK-04 dynamic viscoelastic analyzer" project of Chinese Academy of Sciences has passed the acceptance. The modified MAK-04 dynamic viscoelastic analyzer was applied to the vibrating screen field. mak-04 dynamic viscoelastic analyzer is a large-scale instrument introduced by Changchun Chemical Institute from France metravib company. It is a core and key instrument used to study the dynamic mechanical properties of polymer materials, such as viscoelasticity, molecular motion, polymer transformation and relaxation. It can be used in the fields of physics, chemistry, biology, petrochemical industry, medicine, food and commodity inspection, and has a wide range of applications. Over the years, this instrument has done a lot of work for the major projects of the state, institutes, ministries and commissions and the basic research of polymer materials undertaken by Changchun Institute of Applied Chemistry. At the same time, it has also undertaken the research work of relevant domestic scientific research institutions and colleges and universities in this regard. Nearly a thousand samples are analyzed every year, and tens of thousands of data are provided. However, the instrument has been used for more than 30 years, and the aging of the instrument and its parts is very serious. The transformation and upgrading of the instrument is imperative

based on the actual needs of scientific research and production, the instrument maintenance team of the national electrochemical and Spectral Research and analysis center of Changchun Yinghua Institute of Chinese Academy of Sciences, supported by the technical innovation project of instrument and equipment function development of Chinese Academy of Sciences, started the "technical transformation of MAK-04 dynamic viscoelastic analyzer" in January, 2012. Depending on the existing conditions and technical strength, the faults detected by the instrument were repaired, and the hardware, temperature control system and software of the instrument were reformed and developed. Through the transformation, not only do users not think that the more they buy, the better they can play and tap the potential of existing instrument resources, but also save a lot of money

after the technical transformation, the MAK-04 dynamic viscoelastic analyzer operates stably. On the basis of retaining the original instrument detection sensor, sample fixture and vibration exciter, the hardware and software functions of the instrument have been comprehensively transformed, the temperature control range has been expanded, and the information control of the instrument has been realized. The FRP will be reduced to 17.3%, meeting the requirements of the functional and technical indicators approved in the implementation plan. After the transformation, the instrument mainly provides services for the research work of relevant scientific researchers in the Institute, relevant domestic scientific research institutions and colleges and universities
